Lone Oak Photography | Tampa Wedding Photographers | Modern Classy Photography bio picture

A bit about us.

I've had a fascination with photography for many years, wanting to capture beautiful moments so they wouldn't be forgotten. Since I bought my first camera I captured many images but my favorite are always of people. Over the years I have been able to develop an "artistic eye" that is necessary for fine art photography and now have a definite style to my photography.

My partner and I officially started Lone Oak Photography as a business in the fall of 2008. My passion is for couples photography, especially engagements and weddings and Caroline's is for organization, overseeing and all the little details of business in general.

Have yourself a look around, and if you're looking for something a little older feel free to check out the archives.

A sax, and a brick wall

I was having some fun tonight playing with some off camera lighting. I think they’re pretty cool… but then again I’m biased.

A color version of the same image… Not sure which one I like better (probably black and white)

Some from a beach a while back

Here are a couple of images from a trip to the beach with some friends and their young-un. It was a good time, and he had a fabulous time playing in the sand.

Upcycled images

Here are some slightly older images that I have re-edited and perhaps upcycled. I think they are somewhat fun :)

Strawberry Festival

I had the opportunity recently to go to the Strawberry Festival with Caroline and the in-laws, and it was really an interesting experience. There were about a million and a half people at the festival, and there were almost as many different food places in the confines of the festival as there were people at the festival. It was amazing, from fried pepsi, to donut-burgers.

Anyway, we were there for quite a while, and at some point I finally pulled my camera out, and took a few photos.

Lately I have been really enjoying the black and white, somewhat grainy look. I also think it goes particularly well with this theme. Kind of old-school Let me know what you think.

Wedding Album Samples

I just got in my new Album Samples a few days ago, and I thought I would share some images of these with those of you that care.

These are absolutely gorgeous albums, the leather is supple and soft. The page bleeds all the way to the edge, and there is a tiny gutter in the middle of the layflat pages so small you will quickly forget they’re even there.

In the box

A few images of the binding and leather

Thick and Durable

Solid Corners… will last a forever (practically)

A couple of the pages… Quite thick and sturdy, Won’t accidentally be bent in any way.

They have rounded corners (or straight if you prefer) and full bleed pages, meaning I can print all the way to the edge with images.

A tiny gutter, the image just continues from left to right without being abruptly stopped in the middle.

Check these out, they are a great option for your wedding, a fantastic keepsake and reminder of your special day.
